Pakistani-American writer Wajahat Ali drew flak for hating on Charlie Kirk's wife Erika Kirk after she made her first public address after Kirk's death. "Let it be known I condemn Kirk's murder and the use of political violence. I'm consistent, unlike many of you. However, I will call out your hypocritical fake outrage because you spent the past 2 days inciting violence against "the left" without any evidence," Ali posted
"Well, the alleged shooter is a white man from a conservative Trump voting family most likely influenced by the Groypers. Also, your King and Daddy Donald Trump is the one who mocked Paul Pelosi and made jokes after his attack, pardoned insurrectionists and refused to call Melissa Hortman who was killed by a Trumper. Utah Senator Mike Lee mocked Democrats after the Minnesota shooting. Look in the mirror and have some shame. Or not," Wajahat Ali wrote.
