RAIPUR : A day after Chhattisgarh police arrested Kuldeep Sahu for the murder of the wife and daughter of a head constable , four more suspects - including NSUI district president Chandrakant Chaudhary - were arrested Wednesday. Though the bodies had been found nude, the medical investigation didn't indicate any 'initial signs of rape or sexual assault', police said, adding that five men had committed the crime.
Kuldeep named his accomplices during interrogation, police said. Sources said Kuldeep's house will be bulldozed since it's illegally constructed. NSUI suspended Chaudhary soon after his arrest. BJP alleges that Kuldeep is also associated with NSUI but Congress denied the claim.
Kuldeep, a history-sheeter, got into an argument with constable Ghanshyam Sonwani on Sunday, and threw a pot of boiling oil at him. Police said Kuldeep barged into the head constable's home to kill him, but as he was not there, he killed his wife and daughter.
