The Royal Rumble PLE throughout its history has never failed to deliver on some absolutely fantastic moments. Many believe that the Royal Rumble is where the Road to WrestleMania truly begins, and everything else is just noise. However, it seems like this year the Road to WrestleMania will be starting a bit earlier than expected. Much like WWE ’s Bad Blood PLE, Royal Rumble 2025 will also have an earlier starting time than usual.
The reason for this is that UFC will be having its 250th Fight Night in Riyadh on the day of the Royal Rumble PLE. Now, TKO , the parent company to both UFC and WWE, has realized that the two sports don’t have a lot of common fans. So they are actively trying to avoid any scheduling conflicts by moving the Royal Rumble PLE to an earlier hour. WrestleVotes reports that next year’s Rumble is set to kick off on February 1, 2025, at 7 p.m. EST. Let’s take a look at what we can expect from the event.

What to expect from Royal Rumble 2025?
The most obvious expectation to have of a Royal Rumble PLE is the emergence of a new star. Time and again, we’ve seen wrestlers get a win in the Royal Rumble match, and that in turn ends up transforming their entire careers. Hopefully, someone will be lucky enough to get the same treatment next year. Also worth noting is the fact that TNA star, Joe Hendry, has been teasing a Royal Rumble appearance for quite some time now.
So, it is entirely possible that we get to see Hendry pop out at Royal Rumble 2025. Hendry is so over that it wouldn’t even be surprising if he ends up winning the Rumble match. Royal Rumble may be kicking off at an earlier time, but the show is still guaranteed to be packed with the biggest stars and should prove to be quite a ride.
