On the night of May 16, chaos erupted outside a Miami boxing event when former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown has taken a darker turn with shocking claims from a man named Zül-Qarnaįn Nantambu , who says he was shot in the neck during a violent confrontation with Brown.

Zül-Qarnaįn Nantambu’s account sheds new light on the Miami brawl

The incident occurred outside a Miami boxing event, and while police have not confirmed any injuries or arrests, Zül-Qarnaįn Nantambu’s firsthand account adds a disturbing perspective to the chaotic night.

"I'm feeling this burning sensation on my neck," Nantambu told the Daily Mail. "I thank God I'm not murdered. God spared me from getting shot in the face."

According to Nantambu, the conflict stemmed from a dispute over a valuable pendant. He claims that Brown attempted to take the jewelry without returning it.

"He basically tried to steal it," he said. "He moved hotel rooms, left the hotel, stopped answering calls. And then when I confronted him about the pendant, he acted like he lost it."

The situation allegedly escalated when Brown accused Nantambu of stealing from him. "He told them that I stole $2 million worth of jewelry from him," Nantambu added, noting that he still hasn’t recovered his pendant.

Perhaps the most disturbing part of his account is the possibility that the attack was planned. "I don't know if [Brown] premeditated a thought in his mind, like: 'Okay, I'm gonna say that he tried to take my chain and I'm gonna kill him and I don't have to pay him his judgment,'" Nantambu told the Daily Mail.

These revelations come amid social media videos showing Brown engaged in a physical altercation, followed by loud banging noises believed to be gunshots.

Brown was briefly detained by police but later released after giving his version of the story, claiming he was the victim of an attempted robbery.

The conflicting narratives raise serious questions about what actually happened and who bears responsibility. While Brown attempts to paint himself as the victim, Nantambu's account suggests a betrayal and a dangerous confrontation that could have ended in death.

This latest controversy adds to Antonio Brown’s long history of off-field troubles. Whether charges will be filed or justice served remains uncertain. For now, Nantambu is just grateful to be alive even as he continues to seek accountability and the return of his missing pendant.
