Pakistan beat England by 152 runs in the second Test in Multan on Friday (October 18) to level the three-match series at 1-1.
The welcome win is captain Shan Masood 's first as a skipper after undergoing a record of six straight defeats. For Pakistan it was a first win following seven losses at home in 11 Test matches.
The last time Pakistan had won a Test before the success in Multan was in July 23, when they beat Sri Lanka by an innings in Colombo.
However, Men in Green's record at home in the longest format was more embarrassing with no wins since beating South Africa in February 2021.
Chasing 297 for victory, England were bowled out for 144 on Day 4 in the morning session with eight wickets falling by the wayside.
Skipper Ben Stokes had the top score for England with 37, while Noman Ali was pick of the Pakistan bowlers, claiming 8-46.
The third and final Test begins in Rawalpindi on Thursday.
