Champions League: Inter Milan's Road to final at Munich Football Arena

Inter Milan have been quite impressive to say the least, recording only one defeat in their ongoing Champions League 2024/25 campaign so far. Manager Simone Inzaghi has developed a fighting unit which is capable of getting the job done against the best in the business. However, they will face a stern challenge in the final against PSG who have been quite dominant in the knockouts themselves.

1. Manchester City vs Inter (0-0 draw)

Inter's opening match in their Champions League 2024/25 campaign ended in a 0-0 draw. Inzaghi admitted that he fell into despair following his side's inability to convert chances in the second-half.

The Italian side recorded their maiden win of the campaign following a thumping 4-0 triumph against the Serbian side. Hakan

6. Bayer Levurkusen vs Inter (1-0 loss marks Inter's maiden loss)

Xabi Alonso's Bayer Levurkusen subjected the Italian side to their maiden and only loss so far in the ongoing campaign, as Nordi Mukiele shattered Inter's streak of clean sheets with a late winner.

The Italian side bounced back to winning ways quite quickly, pulling off yet another clean sheet after Lautaro Martinez scored an early goal in the 12th minute.

11. Barcelona vs Inter Milan (7-6 win on aggregate for Inter in semi-finals)

Inter Milan managed to enter the final following a series of extremely intense matches where both teams delivered a stunning show. The first leg ended in a hard-fought 3-3 draw, showcasing the intensity of goalscoring.

The second leg was similarly extremely well-fought with both sides unwilling to concede an inch. However, Francesco Acerbi's late goal in the 93rd minute simply shattered Barcelona's momentum, with David Frattesi further driving home the advantage.
