Ahead of the upcoming AEW Full Gear 2024 pay-per-view on Saturday, November 23, 2024, Maxwell Jacob Friedman has found his potential opponent for the event. MJF has been in a feud with Adam Cole following Cole's recent return to AEW. Now, a match for MJF has been confirmed by the superstar but the opponent will be determined in a three-match competition.

Adam Cole had an in-ring segment in the latest episode of AEW Dynamite and as he was addressing his feud with MJF, his former buddies Roderick Strong , Mike Bennett, and Matt Taven from the Undisputed Kingdom interrupted Cole’s segment and they also addressed the former AEW World Champion.
While Cole was joined by his former buddies, MJF appeared on the video screen. In the pre-recorded video, he was seen enjoying a massage as he addressed Cole right from his relaxation time. “Oh didn’t see there, wow Cole, I’m so shocked you still wanna get your hands on me, who knew?” MJF said in the video.
He further said that greed had blinded Cole as he was desperately looking for a fight with MJF. “I’m literally telling you won’t ever get your hands on me,” he continued mocking Cole with a sarcastic gesture, “unlike Natalya over here” as he pointed out to the masseuse.
MJF further revealed that his opponent for Full Gear will be determined by who wins three matches in a row first among the competitors Adam Cole or Roderick Strong. The former AEW American Championship said that he will not make any appearances until AEW Full Gear. “Gosh, I hope both of you get the happy ending you’re looking for, Lord knows, I will,” he added.
Following the video message, the Undisputed Kingdom members hugged in the ring teasing that the partnership and goodwill in the faction are still intact as they previously revealed that the team reached out to Cole while he was absent from AEW during his injury.
Now, as MJF stated either Cole or Strong will have a shot at him at Full Gear which will only be determined after the Cole vs Strong match as the duo agreed to the stipulation match.
