Actor Radhika Apte recently surprised fans by showcasing her baby bump during the screening of her movie 'Sister Midnight' at the BFI London Film Festival. The actress looked adorable in a black bodycon dress. As the 'Forensic' actress is expecting her first child, let’s revisit when she mentioned that she does not believe in marriage but had to marry British musician Benedict Taylor to obtain a visa more easily.

Radhika, who is currently in London with Benedict, shared a funny banter with actor Vikrant Massey for one of the leading OTT platforms in 2020. The duo talked about answering some of the “other” questions that people often ask in the comment section but that interviewers never ask.

Vikrant asked, “When did Radhika Apte get married?” She responded humorously: “Well, when I realized that it’s easier to get a visa when you are married. I think there should be no boundaries. I’m not a big marriage person; I don’t believe in the institution. I got married because the visa was really a problem, and we wanted to live together. I think that’s not fair.”

Radhika tied the knot with British violinist and composer Benedict Taylor in 2012. They first met in 2011 during Radhika’s sabbatical in London, where she went to learn contemporary dance, and they soon began living together.

Radhika had a cameo role in 'Merry Christmas', starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi. She also appeared in 'Akka' alongside Keerthy Suresh. Her new film 'Sister Midnight', directed by Karan Kandhari, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May this year.
