Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are a duo Bollywood fans can never get enough of. Whether it's 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge', 'Baazigar', 'My Name Is Khan', or 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham', the two have created magic together on-screen time and again. But what makes fans love them even more is their real-life friendship, full of laughter, teasing, and genuine affection.
SRK-Kajol's goofy throwback
One of their most hilarious and heart-warming moments was caught on camera in New York, and it still makes fans smile. It was during the shoot of 'My Name Is Khan', and a fun interaction with a cab driver ended up giving us one of Shah Rukh's funniest off-the-cuff jokes ever.
In an old video, during a break in filming, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol were seen chilling inside a car in New York’s Times Square. SRK, always happy to speak to his fans, gave a little introduction to the moment. He said, "Alright, here we are in Times Square, in New York. This is fun." As the car moved along, the driver introduced himself with a friendly greeting, "Hi, how are you? My name is Erhan."
Kajol replied, "Hello, Erhan," and Shah Rukh quickly added, "Erhan, this is Kajol and my name is Khan."
You can already feel the charm, can’t you?
‘You look married’
Things got even better when Erhan, the driver, complimented the pair by saying, "Nice to meet you guys. You look married."
Without missing a beat, SRK brought out his signature humour and replied, "Yeah, we're running away from home and getting married, actually," sending Kajol into giggles. It was just a random cab ride—but for fans, it became an iconic moment showing just how fun their friendship is.
Whether it’s a film promotion or an award function, whenever Shah Rukh and Kajol are seen together, fans are guaranteed a dose of fun. They tease each other, laugh together, and remind us all what true friendship looks like.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in the film 'King', which also stars his daughter Suhana Khan in the lead role. Abhay Verma, known for 'Munjya', is also expected to join the cast. Meanwhile, Kajol is gearing up for 'Sarzameen', where she will share the screen with Ibrahim Ali Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
