Reality show Roadies XX has been winning hearts since the very start. Fans are enjoying the entertaining episodes and are praising their favourites. Recently evicted contestant Nishi Tanwar, recently got in touch with TOI TV, where she opened up about her experience on the show, how she ‘wasn’t Prince Narula’s priority’ and more.
Nishi mentioned that even though her journey on the show was short, she’s grateful to be a part of the show. Moreover, she revealed how she didn’t receive the kind if support she was expecting from her gang leader and gang members. Another thing that Nishi spoke about was how she felt, this years Roadies was favouring the male contestants and was designed for them.
She shared, “This year’s season was solely made for the male participants and not for the female contestants. May it be the task or the tasks or the gang leader’s priority, it was always the men who were seen to be given the preferences. I wasn’t quite happy with it and it made me feel like why even call the female contestants in the show. They should make a show with only the men and then enjoy it. I was quite disappointed with this.”
“Honestly, I had a lot of respect for Prince sir when I entered the show,” Nishi shared. “He was someone I looked up to — not just as a gang leader but as someone who had made his mark through sheer hard work. But somewhere along the way, things changed. I didn’t get enough priority from him or my gang. While things with other gang leaders are good, it’s still bitter with him. Things ended on a bad note, and the bitterness remains.”
Speaking about her overall journey, Nishi added, “I have no regrets about how I played the game. I stood by my principles, and if that means losing people along the way, then so be it. At the end of the day, Roadies is not just a game of strength — it’s also a test of character.” Despite the sour ending, she expressed gratitude for the platform and everything it taught her. “I made some amazing friends, learned so much about myself, and discovered how strong I really am. That’s what I’m taking back with me.”
