'Raid 2' box office collection day 10 (LIVE): The Ajay Devgn starrer crosses Rs 100 crore on second Saturday, despite the India-Pakistan tensions

Ajay Devgn’s ‘Raid 2’ released in theatres on May 1 and it had a very good opening as the film made a signifcant opening day number. It has remained steady over the last ten days, and surprisingly, has remained steady in cinemas even amidst the India Pakistan tensions which escalated from Thursday onwards.

Raid 2 crosses Rs 100 crore on Saturday
The Ajay Devgn starrer is set made Rs 95.75 crore within one week, which was till Thursday, which was day 8. Shockingly, on Thursday, the film saw a growth in the business as compared to Wednesday. It made Rs 5.25 crore according to Sacnilk on day 8. On Friday, it remained steady with around Rs 5.16 crore. Now on day 10, which is Saturday, it made Rs 87 lakhs till afternoon and has crossed Rs 100 crore. The total collection of the film so far now stands at Rs 101.62 crore.

‘Kesari 2’ hasn’t yet touched the Rs 100 crore mark
Akshay Kumar’s ‘Kesari 2’ got some rave reviews and also saw growth at the box office. But by then, Ajay’s ‘Raid 2’ released and gave it a tough competition. The total collection of the movie so far, according to Sacnilk, is Rs 83.95 crore.
New releases affected

Rajkummar Roa, Wamiqa Gabbi starrer ‘Bhool Chook Maaf’ which was supposed to release in cinemas this Friday cancelled its theatrical release due to the India-Pakistan tensions. The film is now set to straight away release on OTT. With the current situation, film-makers may either delay their movie releases or may opt for the OTT route.
