Elon Musk is making his presence known on the internet. The tech mogul has been at the centre of attention lately for his position at DOGE, amidst the Tesla fiasco. Musk recently announced his reduced role in the Department of Government Efficiency to focus on Tesla, following a challenging financial quarter for the company. However, the Tesla CEO can hardly keep himself away from the internet, and this time – he marked his presence on JD Vance’s post of his Taj Mahal visit along with his family.
What happened?
The Vice President of the United States of America, JD Vance, is on his very first state visit to India, along with his wife, the Second Lady, Usha Vance , and their three kids. The Second Couple of the US touched down in India on April 21.
On April 24, the Vances visited Agra and took photos in front of the Taj Mahal, and shared the same via social media. VP Vance took to X (formerly, Twitter) to share the photos and wrote, “Today I visited the Taj Mahal with Usha and the kids. It's a beautiful historic site, and I'm grateful for the warm welcome we received there!”

His photos garnered a response from Tesla CEO Elon Musk. "One of the most beautiful wonders of the world," Musk wrote under JD Vance's pictures on X.
Vance also recorded his impressions in the visitor's diary, describing the Taj Mahal as “amazing” and a “testament to true love, human ingenuity, and a tribute to the great country of India.”
Not just that, Vance also went cheeky with his caption while sharing a photo of his family from his personal account, where he said, “With three little kids staring into the sun, this was actually the *best* photo we got at the Taj Mahal today.”

The ‘Wah Taj’ moment!
For the Taj Mahal visit, the Second Lady Usha Vance went breezy in a blue and white striped midi dress, while VP Vance kept it casual with a navy blue blazer over a pale blue shirt and beige trousers. Their sons, Ewan and Vivek, twinned in printed bandhgala kurtas and pyjamas, while their daughter Mirabel wore a breezy striped blouse and flared pants.

As JD Vance shared his family photo on X, Musk was quick to comment on that as well, using only emojis – the American flag, a red heart, and the Indian flag – indicating America’s love for India.
