Chicken Shop Date host Amelia Dimoldenberg was charming her way onto The Drew Barrymore Show when she dropped a bombshell about her love life: She got kissed by someone, right before she would finally sit down with actor Andrew Garfield.
During the interview with Barrymore, Dimoldenberg bragged about how she was doing very well with being single but confessed that she recently kissed someone that made her feel so good. "I'm feeling really good about being single right now, but that's because I kissed someone recently," she revealed, adding that the kiss even included "tongue." Though Barrymore was trying to get out all the details, Amelia kept the identity of the person under wraps.
Much of the hype has been created around Dimoldenberg's episode of 'Chicken Shop Date' with Andrew Garfield. The episode will be out on October 18, 2024, and fans are hyping up the chemistry of the two, especially coming from a flirty chat at the Golden Globes in January 2023. At that event, Garfield had jokingly told Amelia, "I only ever want to see you," and speculation went viral and hopes bloomed for a possible romance.
Despite all the rumors surrounding her love life, Amelia confirmed during the interview that she is indeed single. She jokingly requested Barrymore that perhaps if she spent more time in the chicken shops her dating luck would improve.
Andrew Garfield, who separated from ex-girlfriend Kate Thomas not long ago, can be heard expressing himself on anything in the next 'Chicken Shop Date' episode. Fans are awaiting with bated breath to see if there will be further sparks of romance between the actor and the witty journalist.
Despite all the hype on-screen chemistry, Amelia recently stated that she is mostly happy and her dating scene remains light for now. The suspense surrounding her recent kiss has only heightened fans' excitement for her much-awaited interview with Garfield.
