Nagpur: The JEE-Main results will be declared on Saturday, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced on Friday as it released the final answer keys for the exam.
Social media was abuzz with claims of "wrong" answer keys, with some users alleging that the answers provided were incorrect. This led to confusion among students and parents. However, the NTA put an end to the rumour mills by releasing the final answer keys. It also clarified that the answer keys uploaded earlier were provisional.
The agency emphasized that the JEE-Main score is determined solely based on the final answer key, and drawing conclusions from the provisional version was not appropriate.
"NTA has always followed a transparent examination process, which allows candidates to view their recorded responses as soon as the provisional answer keys are released. NTA would like to advise and inform candidates not to be misled by reports that create unnecessary doubt and anxiety," the agency stated on April 15.
"The NTA considers every challenge to the provisional answer key with utmost seriousness. The answer key challenge process is a key part of ensuring a fair and reliable system for all candidates. It is aimed at removing any anomalies," the agency added.
