Prayagraj: Action will be taken against teachers who committed irregularities in the evaluation of copies of the UP Board High School and Intermediate Examination 2025.
The secretary of the UP Board, Bhagwati Singh, has written to the additional secretaries of the Meerut, Bareilly, Varanasi, Prayagraj and Gorakhpur regional offices, seeking a list of examiners whose checked answer sheets were found to have unevaluated questions, errors in mentioning page-wise marks, overwriting in awarding marks differences in ink while awarding marks.
A team constituted by the board will closely check all such copies, and if any discrepancy is found, action will be taken against the teacher. A thorough investigation will be conducted on the inspected answer sheets sent to the Board Headquarters for approval by the team constituted at the headquarters level and subject experts.
The secretary has clarified that after the investigation, if the case appears suspicious, its forensic investigation will also be conducted. The team members will ensure that there is no discrepancy inside and outside the answer sheets or in the addition of marks and whether any question is unevaluated. If no discrepancy of any kind is found in any answer sheet, then the case will be put in the category of 'no change' only after being fully assured.
After verifying the answer sheets, if the marks match with the calculator register, mark sheet, and OMR (award) without any discrepancies, a "no change" confirmation will be communicated.
