New Delhi: Karolina Goswami, who runs the YouTube channel 'India in details', had recently claimed that she was allegedly attacked and threatened by Youtuber Dhruv Rathee's fans. In a recent video posted on her Instagram account, she can be seen walking with two security guards. Karolina Goswami had reportedly received over 220 threats from Dhruv Rathee fans back in May. The threats came after she analysed Rathee’s YouTube videos, claiming to expose his “anti-India propaganda.”“We feature nothing. We will continue living in India no matter what happens,” the video reads."We will continue living in India…,” reads the Instagram post.In the video, Karolina declares “We’ll do our best, we’ll continue smiling and will do our best to bring smiles in your lives”.

The video shared earlier this week has gone viral on the internet. It has gained more than 4 million views so far. Commenting on her latest video post on Instagram, a user said “For those who don’t know, these security guards are for the radical fans of Youtuber Dhruv Rathhee.” Why Did Karolina Receive Threats?In videos posted on her YouTube channel “India in Details”, Goswami had called out Dhruv Rathee for publishing fake news and asked for a ban on his social media channels. Dhruv Rathee fans allegedly targeted Goswami and her family with threats over her videos.Goswami and her husband claim they were also attacked by Rathee fans in Germany last year. These fans vandalised their car and took away their devices during the attack in 2023.In May, Goswami had appealed to the Indian government to provide her with security due to the threats she received. She also shared screenshots of the rape threats she received over her videos.“My family and I have faced more than 220 threats and we can’t bear this anymore,” she said. However, the Polish YouTuber did not receive a response from the government. Who Is Karolia Goswami?Karolina Goswami is a Polish citizen and an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holder. She is living in India with her husband, Anurag and sons. Karolina and her husband own a YouTube channel named 'India in Details' with more than 1.1 million subscribers. The couple has made several videos on Dhruv Rathee in the past, accusing him of lying in his videos and being a 'fake intellectual'. In one of her videos, she questioned Dhruv Rathee's adopted formulas and methods for the 'World Happiness Index 2021' video. Citing the Index, Rathee claimed in his video that people in Pakistan are happier than those in India. Karolina has also made expose videos about Dhruv Rathee.In May this year, she shared a video claiming that she has received over 220 threats from Dhruv Rathee fans. A year ago, she shared another video where she accused Rathee of sending goons to attack her family in Germany for allegedly fact-checking his video.
