Honda gave a mid-life facelift to the City sedan and the hatchback in Brazil. The update is similar in nature and scale to the revision the City received in India. On the outside, you see an updated design for the front bumper. The front grille is new, and the chrome bar above has been thinned out. The side profile of the sedan and hatchback remain similar to the pre-facelift models. However, City now rides on a fresh set of alloy wheels. At the back, there is a subtle update on the rear bumper. Also Read: The 2025 City sedan and hatchback changes are a little more extensive on the inside. Honda has updated the touchscreen infotainment system with better graphics thanks to the improved screen resolution. Like the City sold in India, higher trims in the Brazil-spec model come with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. In comparison, lower trims get an analogue unit with a 4.2-inch TFT screen between the speedometer and tachometer dials. Honda has also updated the screen resolution for the rear cameras and added lane-watch features and blind-spot detection on higher trims.
Regarding safety, six airbags have been made standard on all Brazil-spec Honda City sedans and hatchback trims. The ADAS suite of driver assistance systems is also available on the 2025 City lineup on all trims except the entry-level. Honda hasn't changed the engine specifications of the new City sedan and hatchback models. Both are powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated flex-fuel engine that can run on petrol or petrol-ethanol.Also Read: When running on petrol alone, the engine makes 126 hp and 152 Nm of peak torque. While the power output stays the same, the torque goes up to 155 Nm when ethanol-blend fuel is used. The India-spec Honda City is E20 compatible and uses a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine, producing 119 hp and 145 Nm of peak torque. The City sedan and hatchback prices start from R$117,500 (approximately Rs 17.10 lakh) in Brazil. You may also like
