The Ferrari F80 is the replacement for the LaFerrari. The new hypercar from Maranello joins the ranks of flagship Ferrari models such as the F40, F50, and Enzo. With a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 assisted by a hybrid system, the new Ferrari hypercar produces 1,200 hp, making it the most powerful model ever made by the brand. Besides the twin-turbo V6, the F80's hybrid powertrain uses three electric motors. Two sit on the front axle, while the third at the rear, acting as an MGU-K.Also Read: Ferrari claims the F80 can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.15 seconds and clock a maximum speed of 349 km/h. With these specifications, it goes right against the McLaren W1. The W1 uses a plug-in hybrid powertrain with a twin-turbocharged flat-plane crank V8 engine. The engine hooks up to a 342 hp electric motor to produce a combined 1,258 hp. The W1 takes 2.7 seconds to hit 96 km/h.

Returning to the F80, its design will remind you of the aesthetics of the F40 and F50. It has a low-slung aerodynamic shape with modern retro elements. The front and rear subframes of the F80 are made from aluminium, while the tub is a carbon fibre monocoque. Ferrari has 3D-printed the double-wishbone active suspension setup of its new hypercar. F80's interior keeps the driver in focus. Though there is a digital instrument cluster and a traditional Ferrari steering wheel with everything on it, the F80 has a few retro panels inside its cabin. Ferrari will make only 799 units of the F80. Each will cost $3.1 million, and all units have already been sold.
