The construction of an incredible skyscraper set to be the world's tallest residential building is currently under way. The Tiger Sky Tower is a multi-million-dollar development project that includes the construction of a 122-story building, which will soar over one of the world's most renowned skylines.
Tiger Sky Tower, being built in Dubai's Business Bay district, is set to reach a staggering 532 metres in height, making it one of the tallest buildings in the luxury city. However, it is already setting records of its own; it will house the world's highest restaurant, infinity pool, and rainforest, all while being the world's tallest residential property.
The tower, developed by Tiger Properties, will feature 849 housing units, including one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom apartments, 18 penthouses, and one single 'Royal Sky Penthouse,' which will be located 426 metres above ground level.
And at 431 metres, just slightly above the royal suite, will be the incredible record-breaking infinity pool. The tower's Sky Restaurant will be located even higher at 439m, a future dining spot where the developers say "every moment is an exceptional celebration".
The final record-breaker of the tower will be a unique rainforest, featuring a rollercoaster ride and secluded spaces that allow residents and guests to observe the thriving city below.
The rainforest located at a height of 447 metres will have a blend of "exotic tree species, the melodies of native birdsong, and fresh, invigorating air".
The restaurant, infinity pool, and rainforest make up just a portion of the luxury environment that the tower will offer. Other amenities will include a jacuzzi, barbecue facilities, a basketball court, a cigar room, a health club, a jogging track, a kids' play area, a rooftop terrace, a spa, a gym, and a tennis court.
The website states: "At Tiger Properties, we're dedicated to providing exquisite living environments that go above and beyond our clients. Tiger Sky Tower is proof of our dedication to perfection, and we are sure that it will raise the bar for luxury living in the UAE."
The construction cost is expected to be around $1 billion, equivalent to approximately £760 million, and the tower is scheduled for completion in 2029.
