'Masterful' period drama with 'remarkable acting' is a must-watch

The programme, based on a chilling true story, has received high praise from viewers.

The BBC's limited series Rillington Place, a chilling dramatisation of the real-life murders committed by John Christie during the 1940s and 1950s, was split into three episodes, each focusing on a different character. The show featured an all-star cast including Tim Roth as John Christie, Samantha Morton from The Walking Dead as Ethel Christie, Nico Mirallegro as Timothy Evans, and Jodie Comer from Killing Eve as Beryl Evans.

This 2016 series followed the 1971 film 10 Rillington Place, starring Richard Attenborough and John Hurt. The series received high praise, with one viewer describing it as "A grimy, unsettling, and impeccably acted British miniseries about a famed series killer [sic]."
