Police swarmed a street in Manchester following reports of a stabbing incident. Officers were called to the scene shortly after 9.30pm on Monday night, where they found two males, both thought to be aged approximately 18, with stab wounds. They were taken to hospital.
A cordon was put in place between St John's Road and Stockport Road following the double stabbing. This morning, officers remain in attendance on Dickenson Road in Longsight. Two male suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident, Great Manchester Police (GMP) said. One was arrested on suspicion of assault and taken straight to custody, while the other was transferred from hospital to custody.
