Manchester United are gearing up for another hectic transfer deadline today and could strike as many as six deals before the clock hits 7pm. The Red Devils are trying to bolster Ruben Amorim's squad in multiple areas, while also offloading several players deemed surplus to requirements by the head coach.
Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha, Benjamin Sesko and Diego Leon have all arrived this summer, but mixed results this season have left many supporters convinced that more additions are necessary in order to return to European football. Here, Express Sport has taken a look at six deals that could take place today involving United.
Rasmus Hojlund
Rasmus Hojlund, forced out of Old Trafford following the capture of Sesko, has agreed a loan move to Napoli and he is currently in Italy to put the finishing touches on his move.
United and Napoli have agreed a deal that would see the striker make his move permanent as a £38m transfer if certain conditions are met, according to the BBC, with one of those conditions thought to be qualifying for next season's Champions League.
The Denmark international wanted to stay in Manchester and fight for his spot, but is set to be one of the first deadline day exits.
Emi Martinez
Signing a new goalkeeper has been a priority for United after adding some much-needed firepower earlier in the window.
Senne Lammens was thought to be the preferred option, but no fee has been agreed with Royal Antwerp.
A lack of developments has caused United to return for Aston Villa stopper Emi Martinez, with whom they have already agreed personal terms.
Time will tell if they can sign the World Cup winner before 7pm...

Kobbie Mainoo
Kobbie Mainoo wants to leave Old Trafford in search of more regular playing time in a World Cup year.
Amorim confirmed that he was directly competing with club captain Bruno Fernandes for a spot in the team, having failed to start any of their three league games so far this season.
But United are so far blocking any moves, with Mainoo still hopeful that he can secure a loan today.
Antony
Antony can be forgiven for feeling slightly red-faced when Real Betis, who he enjoyed a positive loan spell with last season, announced that they had withdrawn their offer for the winger.
But he will be desperate to end his ill-fated time in England and is aware that both the Saudi and Turkish windows remain open after today if a deal cannot be revived with Betis. United will be trying to offload Antony in the next few hours.
Tyrell Malacia
La Liga club Elche have approached United over the possibility of signing another member of the 'bomb squad' in Tyrell Malacia.
The left-back has struggled to find a suitor this summer but could be about to join Elche on loan for the remainder of the season.
Carlos Baleba
United have pursued Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba but deemed in August that a price, nearing £100m, is too large of an outlay for this summer.
But it would certainly send a message to their rivals that United mean business if they can wrap up a deal for the 21-year-old today. The sale of Alejandro Garnacho could go some way to funding a new midfielder.
