and her boyfriend Alex de Minaur will find themselves in a tricky spot for the second year running.

The long-time partners could face off at the beginning of the 2025 season as Great Britain and Australia have been drawn in the same group at the United Cup.

It means they will be on opposite teams once again, and they could play each other in a crucial mixed doubles clash.

The draw for the United Cup has been made and two countries are set for a rematch. GB and Australia met in the group stage at the start of the 2024 season and they will do battle again, 12 months later.

The Brits and the Aussies will be part of Group F with a yet-to-be-determined third country. Their ties will be staged in Sydney from December 28 to January 1, with GB vs Australia taking place on New Year's Day.

Boulter and De Minaur have already been named as the No. 1 players in the teams for their respective countries. It means they will be forced to root against each other and may even do battle in doubles.

The tennis power couple had a near-miss in the mixed doubles back in January as the Aussie wasn't picked to play. Instead, Boulter partnered with Neal Skupski to face Storm Hunter and Matthew Ebden.

The Australian duo beat them but the Brits had already won the tie, with ousting De Minaur in singles before Boulter downed Ajla Tomljanovic.

Boulter and De Minaur have been together for more than four years but they joked that their last United Cup experience could have ended the relationship.

When Britain and Australia were drawn in the same group last year, the British No. 1 said: "I know he's country proud, I know I'm country proud, so we'll see if we're still together by the end of it."

The lovebirds have yet to react to the 2025 draw but Australia's captain Lleyton Hewitt knew it wouldn't go down too well.

"Just wait until he wakes up in Europe," Hewitt said of De Minaur after the ATP No. 10 told him he didn't want a rematch with GB.

The rest of team Britain is made up of Jack Draper, Billy Harris, Joe Salisbury, Lily Miyazaki and Olivia Nicholls. In the Aussie squad, De Minaur will be joined by Omar Jasika, Matt Ebden, Olivia Gadecki, Destanee Aiava and Ellen Perez.
