Marcus Rashford is hoping to return to his best form after securing a loan move to Barcelona from Manchester United, and the English forward has been housed in an impressive hotel for the time being. Rashford signed a deal with the Spanish titans for the 2025/26 season, with an option to purchase the 27-year-old next year for approximately £26million. According to Mundo Deportivo, Rashford is staying at the Hotel Sofia - the same place as team-mates Wojciech Szczesny and Roony Bardghji - while he secures permanent accommodation in Barcelona.
Given the stunning surroundings of the five-star hotel, which is five minutes away from Camp Nou, the England international is likely to be quite content staying there for as long as necessary. The Hotel Sofia, also known as the Grand Hyatt Barcelona, is nestled in one of the city's most prestigious financial districts of Alta.
With 465 rooms situated throughout, the hotel is brimming with incredible facilities that Rashford will likely utilise to unwind from training with the La Liga champions ahead of the season opener against RCD Mallorca. On Booking.com, the least expensive room for one night is the premium twin room, costing £243 with breakfast included.
This basic room offers two single beds, a private bathroom with a shower, a flat-screen TV, a seating area and views of the city.
Rashford, whose net worth was reported as £64m last year, is unlikely to have chosen a standard room during his stay. Barcelona are keen to ensure he's well looked after, even covering his hefty weekly wage of £315,000 for the season.
The Manchester United forward would be more at home in the priciest suite at Hotel Sofia, which can set guests back by up to £1,579 per night. The junior king suite is one of the most luxurious rooms at the Spanish hotel, complete with an extra-large double bed, ensuite bathroom, minibar and even a wake-up service included in the rate.
It remains unclear, however, whether Rashford has been allocated one of these suites.
Guests staying in these suites also enjoy a complimentary breakfast, free toiletries, a stunning view of Barcelona's skyline and a spacious living area within the room.

In addition to the hotel room's amenities, the hotel itself provides some remarkable perks. These include a wellness and spa area, an outdoor space featuring a terrace and pool, and a choice of five restaurants.
The spa boasts the latest relaxation techniques, such as water circuits, saunas and steam baths, with professional therapists available to provide high-quality treatments for their clients.
The hotel also features a state-of-the-art gym, open 24 hours - perfect for Rashford to warm up or cool down after training sessions with his new squad. The hotel's main lobby is adorned with spacious seating areas, sun loungers around the outdoor pool, and high stools by a bar stocked with an array of drinks.
Although Rashford will likely make limited use of these amenities while training with Barcelona, it is definitely one of the more comfortable places to stay in the Spanish city.
Discussing his loan move away from United this year, the 27-year-old said (via the Mirror): "I'm very excited. It's a club where dreams come true. They win big prizes and what the club stands for really means a lot to me.
"It feels like I'm at home and it's a big factor in my choice to come here. It's a family club and people are comfortable here. It's a good place for good players to showcase their skills."
