In the summer, I like to make the most of my outdoor space, and because I only have a very small , I need furniture that can be folded up and packed away when I'm not using it.
Two years ago, I was looking for a comfortable alternative to sitting on my picnic-style bench, and I spotted had a very affordable sun lounger. is still available for £35, and I've used it so many times for reading, sunbathing and taking away with me - because I get so much use out of it I think it's great value for money and would consider buying more.
It's now available in a wider colour range than when I got it - I have the charcoal grey shade but if I was to buy one now, I'd opt for one of the brighter aqua, cornflower blue or coral shades for the summer months.
The design's changed slightly, with the main improvement being the addition of a head cushion, which would make the chair even more comfortable. However, my favourite feature is the reclining aspect - you can find the position you want and then lock it into place so it doesn't move.

For me it's important to have a that can be folded up and is light enough to carry, because then it doubles up as a chair for the beach and for camping, and can easily be put in the car. The only thing the chair doesn't have is a cup holder, but a small side table solves the problem.
If you wanted a pair of sun loungers, you can also buy the for £69, in a choice of grey or navy.
There are over 400 reviews on with mostly positive feedback, one shopper said: ''This sun lounger is very comfortable, and perfect for relaxing outdoors. Its durable and the weather-resistant material ensures long-lasting use. Lightweight yet sturdy, it's easy to move around my patio/garden. I highly recommend!''
Another shopper added: ''Love the vibrant colour, it's very comfortable and a good price. It is a bit stiff to put up though.''
While a third commented: ''Very comfortable chair, lovely colour - great that it's adjustable.''
Alternatively, you can get the for £29.99 from Amazon. It's ideal if you want to lie down and sunbathe, but it still has a reclining back so you can adjust it to sit up too. The detachable sun shade is handy for keeping the sun off your face, and you can also compactly fold up the lounger for storage.
If you're looking for a pair, try the Debenhams , which recline to 170 degrees. At £82.99 for two, or £41.49 each, they'll set you back slightly more than the Helsinkis.
