TV star Angelica Bell was visibly moved to tears when she discussed a significant personal achievement during her time in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
The much-loved ITV programme returned for another episode on Friday (April 11), with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best prepped to send the first housemate packing.
Yet, as they provided the latest scoop from the past day's events in Big Brother's abode, the show took an unexpectedly poignant turn. Angelica, famed for her beginnings on CBBC, opened up about reaching a milestone of 25 years in presenting.
Angelica, well-known for her passion for children's broadcasting, found herself choking up while confiding to her housemates how her love for engaging with kids fueled her career success.
Overwhelmed by the moment, she confessed: "I'm really proud of it! You know it gave me a chance to travel and I just love children but it is quite emotional," reports .
Her emotions overflowed as she said through tears: "What I love about children is that they're just so open, they're not tarnished cynicism, the world or life."
She then recounted discovering a letter from a young admirer who had been motivated by Angelica's work to pursue acting. This girl had eventually attended drama school and became a teacher, a revelation that further stirred emotions in Angelica as she narrated this touching progression to her peers in the house, who offered her support and comfort.
Emotional moments from the show led viewers to flock to social media platform X, expressing their admiration for Angelica. One fan exclaimed: "I really like Angelica, and she's not had much airtime yet. She seems genuinely lovely and caring...or am I wrong?".
