Bus fare cap will go up to £3 in Budget, Keir Starmer announces

Keir Starmer has announced there will be a £3 cap on bus fares set out in the - up from the £2 cap.

It comes after it emerged over the weekend that was considering scrapping the country-wide cap. The Prime Minister said the Tories had only funded the £2 cap until 2024.
