Gethin Jones confessed he would face the wrath of BBC executives if he revealed details about an upcoming special Morning Live programme.
During Monday's episode of Morning Live, Gethin wound up his co-presenter Louise Minchin about the forthcoming show, which will focus on "getting outside more".
He said, "Talking of getting outside and the benefits it can have on your well-being, we have a special show coming up in a few weeks.

"That's pretty much all I can tell you about, but we're very, very excited about it."
He added, "Details are still under wraps for now, but we will be bringing you that news very soon."
"And I've asked you several times, but you will not give me a clue," Louise chimed in, reports Wales Online.

Gethin replied, "Not allowed to say anything to me. That's it. I'll be in trouble."
Elsewhere during the programme, Gethin and Louise honoured former BBC broadcaster John Stapleton, who died over the weekend at the age of 79.
John's agent confirmed the tragic news in a statement, "John had Parkinson's disease, which was complicated by pneumonia.
"His son Nick and daughter-in-law Lisa have been constantly at his side, and John died peacefully in hospital this morning."
As he launched the show, Gethin told viewers, "We are celebrating the life of our friend and legendary presenter, John Stapleton.
"For over four decades, he brought us the stories that mattered and, more recently, shared his Parkinson's diagnosis with us on Morning Live.
"Today, we pay tribute to John."
BBC Morning Live airs weekdays at 9.30am on BBC One.
