The story revolves around Jacob (Prince Jacob), his Hindu spouse Varsha (Varsha Usgaonkar) and their children Dhruv (Dhruv Sincro) and Maggie (Maggie).
Maggie is still pursuing her studies, while Dhruv, an agricultural engineer, is passionate about organic farming. After six years of courtship, he now plans to marry Meenakshi (Prajakta).
How 'Housie' can woo audiences back to ‘tiatr’ in GoaJacob’s unmarried sister Platilda (comedienne Platilda) visits whenever she can and plays a key role in uniting the family. Listening to Dhruv’s plans of tying the knot, his mother has no objection to his marriageplans, but insists on a pre-nuptial agreement.
On the other side, there’s Concy (Conceicao), his son Avers (Avers Pereira), who works abroad, and his daughter Megan (Meenakshi Chougule), who lives with him.

Megan weds Jose (Anil Pednekar), but just 10 days later, she is divorced and suffers a mentalbreakdown. Megan’s mental decline sparks family tensions, leaving Concy uncertain about how to manage the difficult situation.
Meenakshi’s entry into the family adds to the turmoil, and at her insistence, Dhruv demands his share of the property with plans to sell it to the highest bidder. He hopes to use the funds to buy homes and rent them out to Goans living in the UK.
Jacob rejects his son’s proposal, and Varsha fully supports his decision. On the other hand, Avers comes back home and commits to seeking treatment for his sister’s mental illness.
