The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO) examination was successfully conducted across all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. This marks the first time the exam was held in a single shift.
The examination, which ran from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, utilized 2,382 centers statewide. To ensure smooth and fair conduct, each center had a center superintendent and two magistrates deployed. Candidates arrived at their respective centers on time, undergoing rigorous security checks including face recognition, biometric verification, and thorough physical searches before being granted entry. Electronic devices, mobile phones, and smartwatches were strictly prohibited inside the examination halls.
In Amethi, 5,376 candidates appeared across 13 centers, with similar stringent security measures in place. Barabanki saw the exam conducted at 23 centers, while Lucknow hosted it at 129 centers for 61,512 candidates. District Magistrate Vishakh G and Joint Commissioner of Police Bablu Kumar inspected various centers and Charbagh Railway Station in Lucknow to oversee arrangements for out-of-town candidates, including mobile toilets, helpdesks, and crowd control.
