Jhansi: A young MBBS student named Sarthak Khanna, from Lucknow's Nirala Nagar, died after falling from the second floor balcony of his hostel at Jhansi Medical College. Sarthak's father is a doctor and his mother runs a school, he is only son of his parents.
Sarthak arrived in Jhansi from Lucknow on Tuesday night. Due to a lack of light in his own room, he was staying in a friend's room in the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Hostel at Paramedical College.
On Wednesday morning around 7:45 AM, Sarthak went to the balcony and fell approximately 25 feet to the ground in suspicious circumstances, sustaining severe injuries.

Police and a forensic team are investigating the scene, which showed a significant amount of blood where Sarthak fell. Friends stated that Sarthak was a bright student who had cleared the NEET exam on his first attempt.
