MP Chief Minister Mohan Yadav Approves More Than 300 Posts For Hawk Force

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): In the review meeting of the state's law and order situation, the implementation of three newly-introduced criminal laws and ongoing anti-Maoist operations in the state, the Chief Minister has approved more than 300 posts for Hawk Force, here on Monday.

During the meeting with senior officials, including Chief Secretary Anurag Jain and Director General of Police (DGP) Kailash Makwana, the CM assessed the status of anti-Maoist operations in Mandla, Balaghat and Dindori districts.

In recent weeks, security forces have killed more than half-a-dozen Maoists in Mandla and Balaghat.

The CM emphasised the need for comprehensive training in the use of modern technology for personnel across police, jail, prosecution, judicial and forensic departments. He stressed the importance of strong coordination among all stakeholders at every level.

The DGP informed in the meeting, that a new dashboard has been introduced to ensure timely submission of challans.

The process of collecting e-evidence has also begun. A software named 'Nyaysruti' has been developed to facilitate video conferencing up to the level of police stations and soundproof rooms are being identified in police stations and control rooms in support.

Progress is underway on implementation of online summons and warrant module. Over 50% of warrants in last three months have been successfully served electronically before the scheduled date.
