Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): An e-rickshaw driver died while his son and friend received injuries when their vehicle was hit by a speeding car under Kolar police station late Monday night.
The car hit the road divider following the accident resulting in injuries to its driver. In another incident, a 23-year-old bike rider died after hit by an auto-rickshaw near Raja Bhoj Setu on Monday night. According to reports, Shyam Nagar resident Dinesh Singh (35) was an e-rickshaw driver.
On Monday night, he was going to Mahabali Nagar with his son Vikas (8) and friend Devendra. When they reached near the locality, a car coming from opposite direction hit their vehicle. The e-rickshaw overturned while the car driver lost control over the steering and hit the road divider.
The injured were taken to the hospital where Dinesh was declared brought dead. In the other accident, Prince Gurjar (23) was hit by an auto-rickshaw while he was riding bike near Raja Bhoj Setu on Tuesday night.
Prince was taken to the hospital where he died during course of treatment. The driver fled after the accident. Talaiya police registered a case against the auto-rickshaw driver on the basis of its registration number.
