Seema Sajdeh, known for her role in Netflix’s Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, officially parted ways with her husband, Sohail Khan, in 2022. Their separation was openly acknowledged in the show, and Seema has since moved on and is reportedly seeing someone else. In a heartfelt conversation with Janice Sequeira, Seema opened up about her current priorities, sharing that her sons remain the most important part of her life.

She reflected on the personal transformation she underwent, admitting that she had to shed outdated mental patterns and emotional baggage in order to find serenity with the decision to dissolve her marriage.

Seema candidly admitted that in the past, she held Sohail responsible for most of the issues in their relationship. Over time, however, she’s come to understand that ending a marriage isn’t always easier for the man. In fact, she pointed out that women often develop stronger emotional resilience and may process pain more efficiently than men do.

She explained, “When a couple is constantly arguing or clashing, it creates a negative atmosphere that affects the entire family. You’re not giving your best to your children. The tension becomes so heavy, it feels like it can be physically sliced through the air.” Seema stressed that toxic environments, especially within a household, end up hurting the children the most, and that peace is essential not just for the adults involved, but also for the young ones observing everything.

Surprisingly, Seema shared her nuanced perspective on infidelity. She revealed that, to her, an affair does not always signal the end of a relationship. “People are flawed, and we all make errors,” she said. “You can grow from them, depending on the situation. Sometimes, even just emotionally connecting with someone else can be seen as betrayal. But the real question is: how are the two of you navigating life together? Laughter and joy should never vanish. When that stops, the relationship fades.”

She added that reaching a place of emotional neutrality, where you can look at the other person without resentment, is crucial. “You should eventually like them again, not hate them,” she said. She also acknowledged that during the tough phase of her marriage, she was quick to point fingers but has since evolved in her thinking.

Seema and Sohail, who tied the knot in 1998, shared over 20 years of marriage and have two sons — Nirvaan and Yohan. Seema is now reportedly in a relationship with Vikram Ahuja. Interestingly, Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma’s wife, Ritika Sajdeh, happens to be Seema’s second cousin.
