Virat Kohli recently made headlines on the cricket field with a fighting half-century in India’s ODI clash against Australia. Opener Rohit Sharma struck an unbeaten century, and pacer Harshit Rana picked up four wickets as India won the final match by nine wickets, though they lost the series 1-2. Off the field, Kohli has been busy with another innings. The cricket superstar inaugurated his first Mumbai restaurant in 2022, turning heads not just with his bat but with his taste in fine dining. Now, the menu of the restaurant is making rounds on the internet.
One8 Commune Juhu outlet menu takes over the internet
According to TOI report, the restaurant, named One8 Commune, is set in the iconic Juhu bungalow Gouri Kunj, once owned by legendary singer Kishore Kumar. Kohli’s choice of location isn’t just about prime real estate; it’s a tribute to the singer he has long admired.

The restaurant promises a welcoming vibe designed for every community, combining high-quality cuisine with a chic, sunny ambience.
The restaurant’s menu includes a variety of options, ranging from plant-based dishes to meat and seafood. There is also a section called “Virat’s Favourites,” which features dishes like tofu steak, mushroom dumplings with truffle oil, and a superfood salad, reflecting Kohli’s recent vegetarian lifestyle.

The interiors are thoughtfully designed, featuring a glass roof that lets in ample sunlight, creating a bright, airy atmosphere for diners. Kohli stresses that while a great ambience is important, food quality remains paramount, every dish is crafted to ensure guests leave satisfied and return for more.
The restaurant also carries a strong homage to Kishore Kumar. Kohli, a self-confessed fan, called the singer “charismatic”.
