Send Push
The Indian Embassy in the UAE announced on Thursday that the United Arab Emirates has implemented a new visa-on-arrival policy.

This initiative allows for easier entry for individuals holding valid permanent resident cards or visas from the United States, United Kingdom, or any European Union country.

Under this policy, eligible Indian nationals will receive a 14-day visa-on-arrival upon their arrival in the UAE.

This development is part of the expanding partnership between India and the UAE, where over 3.5 million Indians currently reside.

It is viewed as a significant step toward enhancing travel and business opportunities between the two nations.

Here's all you need to know about who this criteria applies to:

The updated eligibility criteria for the new visa-on-arrival policy are as follows:

  • A valid visa, residence permit, or green card issued by the United States.
  • A valid visa or residence permit from any European Union country or the United Kingdom.
  • A passport that has a minimum of six months' validity.
Indian travellers who meet these criteria will receive a 14-day visa upon arrival, with the option to extend it for an additional 60 days by paying the applicable fees.
