Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], April 19 (ANI): Actor and Punjab Kings' co-owner Preity Zinta is in happy mood as her team Punjab Kings has been playing extremely well in the ongoing IPL season, especially the last two matches.
On Friday night, PBKS registered a clinical victory over Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in a rain-curtailed clash in Bengaluru. With the match reduced to 14 overs per side, PBKS chased down a target of 96 in 12.1 overs after restricting RCB to 95/9, thanks to a disciplined bowling effort and a mature finish by Nehal Wadhera.
Posting a congratultory message after every win of Punjab Kings has become a ritual for Preity. Hours after the victory against RCB, Preity took to Instagram and lauded the entire PBKS squad.
"Team work makes the dream work - and last night @punjabkingsipl proved it! Fantastic bowling from @yuzi_chahal23 @_arshdeep.singh__ @marco7jansen @harpreetsbrar95 @xavier_bartlett and a solid chase by our batters. A big shout out to @nehalwadhera for leading us to victory & of course great captaincy by @shreyasiyer96 ! #Ting #basjeetnahai #SaddaPunjab #saddasquad," she posted.

Speaking at the post-match presentation, Iyer praised the unpredictability of T20 cricket, saying, "Variety is the spice of life, and we are here to experience all kinds of games here; it's a great challenge."
Iyer also opened up about his on-field decisions during the game, admitting they were largely instinctive."There was no thinking to be honest, I was just taking instinctive moves. I just didn't want new batters to come in and settle in. Jansen was getting a lot of bounce, and he was bowling lethally," he added.
Punjab Kings' next match is against RCB only. Now it's to be seen whether they will be able to maintain their winning streak. (ANI)
