Don Lee Finally Enters Vanga's Spirit Opposite Prabhas? South Korean Websites Confirm

Sandeep Reddy Vanga divided the internet by declaring Prabhas ‘India’s Biggest Superstar’ in Spirit’s audio teaser and now, we have another big update on the much-awaited cop thriller.

Train to Busan star Don Lee was reportedly in talks for the antagonist’s role in Spirit, but nothing was officially confirmed.

But recently, many South Korean websites have confirmed that Don Lee has officially entered Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit opposite Prabhas.

A South Korean website quoted, “Dong-seok Enters Indian Cinema. Ma Dong-seok, the actor with over 10 million viewers from the ‘The Roundup’ series, has confirmed his trip to India. Titled ‘Spirit,’ the film is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and stars Prabhas, known for ‘Baahubali,’ in a dark detective crime story. Ma's role is an antagonist to Prabhas's character. Recently, Ma posted about boarding a flight to India on Instagram, and it's for this movie. Director Vanga, from Telugu cinema, is controversial. His ‘’Animal" has a 3.5-hour runtime, intense violence (A-rated), and criticized views on women from ‘Arjun Reddy,’ yet earned 9 billion rupees worldwide. Though Ma's casting is set, Korean release is uncertain. Many Indian films are engaging with Korea, and this one offers Korean language (per poster), so domestic release is intriguing.”

Don Lee, also known as Ma Dong-seok, is a South Korean-American actor and former personal trainer who rose to international fame with his powerful performance in the zombie thriller Train to Busan (2016).
