Before the election, in the Sankalp Patra, BJP had promised to start a scheme giving financial benefit of Rs 2500 to the women of Delhi.
Many months have passed since the BJP government was formed in Delhi. The Delhi government has announced to start the Chief Minister Mahila Samriddhi Yojana for this. But the question in the minds of many poor needy women of Delhi is that after all Rs 2500 will come in their account. Let us tell you what is the latest update about this.
When will the women of Delhi get Rs 2500?
Since the formation of the BJP government in Delhi, there were speculations that the first installment of the Chief Minister Mahila Samridhi Yojana could be released on March 8, i.e. International Women's Day. But this did not happen. The Delhi government has allocated the budget for this scheme during the budget session.
So along with this, the committee has also been formed. Recently, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta gave the latest update on this and said that at present the work of policy making related to the scheme is going on. Women are seeing benefits only after its completion. However, there is no mention of date and time period here.
Only these women will get the benefit
Under the Chief Minister Mahila Samridhi Yojana of the Delhi government, the government has fixed some eligibility for the benefit. Only women who fulfill these eligibility will be given benefits in the scheme. Let us tell you that to take advantage of the scheme, women must have a voter card and Aadhaar card of Delhi address. Let us tell you that along with this, women should have proof that they have been living in Delhi for the last 5 years. Apart from this, if a woman does a government job or pays income tax, then she will not get the benefit of this scheme.
