Elon Musk's Grok AI has included a new Spicy Mode, but this mode can soon create a big uproar because it is creating adult-themed videos from text prompts received from users. This new tool is undoubtedly pushing the boundaries of generative AI, but with the arrival of this feature, concerns about moderation and misuse have also started increasing.
For whom is the feature available?
Elon Musk's xAI has added a new Spicy Mode feature to Grok Imagine. This feature is available to Premium Plus and SuperGrok subscribers on the iOS app of X (Twitter). There is a lot of uproar about this feature because this tool is creating adult content. To use this feature, the company is charging Rs 700 per month from SuperGrok users.
What is Spicy Mode?
Spicy Mode allows users to create bold content by giving only text prompts; a video of up to 15 seconds can be created with this tool, which also has adult visuals and natural audio. Although the company has put some restrictions on this tool, it still creates some such scenes which bypass the filters put in place by the company.
How did this come to light?
xAI employee Mati Roy had posted on X (Twitter) some time ago, mentioning that this feature, which this tool can generate nudity content, may have been removed later. But by then, this post had spread like fire on social media.
First, a prompt has to be given to this tool, and then this tool creates multiple images in a few seconds; these pictures can be converted into animated videos. But still, the Uncanny Valley effect is visible in it, that is, human faces look like cartoons
