The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially released the admit cards for the Probationary Officer (PO) Preliminary Examination 2025 on its website, ibps.in. Candidates can download their hall tickets until August 24, 2025, using their registration number/roll number along with their password or date of birth.
This recruitment drive aims to fill 5,208 PO vacancies across 11 participating public sector banks. The selection process will be conducted in three stages – Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Personal Interview. Only candidates who qualify in the prelims will be eligible to appear for the mains, and successful candidates from the mains will move on to the interview stage.
Prelims Exam Dates and DetailsThe IBPS PO Preliminary Exam 2025 will be conducted online at designated centers across the country on August 17, 23, and 24. On the exam day, candidates must carry their admit card, a valid photo ID, and a recent passport-size photograph. Entry to the examination hall will not be permitted without these documents.
The prelims will be divided into three sections:
English Language – 30 questions, 30 marks, 20 minutes
Quantitative Aptitude – 35 questions, 35 marks, 20 minutes
Reasoning Ability – 35 questions, 35 marks, 20 minutes
