Coronation Street Daisy's death 'sealed' in Kit twist after chilling flashback

Daisy Midgeley could be in serious danger after striking up a connection with Kit Green, Joel Deering's potential murderer.

Heartbreak recently turned the barmaid's upside down as Ryan Connor was convinced she was still emotionally attached to her ex-fiance Daniel Osbourne. But when he decided to confide in Kit in recent scenes, the DJ was shocked to realise Kit had used the information Ryan had given him to get in Daisy's good books.

During this Monday's trip to the cobbles (November 4), aired on , Daisy (portrayed by ) discovered a bottle Jenny Connor had been looking for in Kit's belongings. Later on, she was fuming to realise Kit had manipulated her into liking him, as Ryan let her know he had put on an act for her.

Unwilling to let it go, Daisy later confronted Kit () with the information, branding his attitude "red flag behaviour." However, Kit was able to keep up appearances as he opened up about - after a flashback of him deleting a mysterious voice message, supposedly on , was shown.

In later scenes, Daisy and Kit wandered on the cobbles, with the detective holding on to his bicycle. But as he doubled up the charm, citing her favourite perfume, Daisy reminded him she wouldn't let flattery get the best of her cautious nature. Nonetheless, Kit sweet-talked her into believing he was "one of the good ones."

But as the episode drew to a close, viewers were given another flashback with Kit driving straight to Joel () on the evening of September 27, and upon his arrival, the pair of men were immediately going head to head. And just as Kit set the tone by pinning Joel down on his car, the duty solicitor reminded him he knew all about the evidence he had planted against Nathan Curtis, his former client.

Though he has yet to be confirmed as Joel's murderer, viewers have been suspicious of Kit since he first arrived in Weatherfield in May, 2024, when he was introduced . Scenes aired on Friday (November 1) then appeared to confirm his involvement in Joel's death as he was seen deleting crucial evidence that could link him to the sinister deed.

Daisy is well-known for her outspoken nature, making it difficult for anybody to fool her easily. While she may have caught on to Kit's manipulative ways in matters of the heart, could she also rumble his involvement in Joel's death? Could Kit really be the killer? And if so, what will he do to Daisy when she finds out?
